Meeting Minutes ABWA Monthly Meeting The meeting was called to
order by President Robin Beatty at Norma Watson's home at Members present were:
Robin Beatty, Norma Watson, Sandy Wickham and Barbara Younger. In lieu of a program this
month, members went through scholarship applications to decide on recipients. Motion made and passed to give 2 scholarships
at $400 each plus the ESU Endowment scholarship. Balance in the checking account
is $2,891.38. It was decided that we would
again get the Planet's Sub sandwich plus some chips for the May meeting at Norma's home. Since we have been keeping
meal costs down and low attendance, it was decided to have the June meeting also at Norma's home. Meal will be decided
at the May meeting. Membership is at 10 members. Robin Beatty will give the
May program. Norma will contact Karen Kindhart about a program. Norma Stinnett had surgery
today. She came through great with getting all the cancer out on her kidney. Half of her kidney was
saved so her prognosis is good for no dialysis. Her daughter Lori will let us know when she will be coming home.
She will also let us know if we can do anything (food, errands, etc) for Norma. In lieu of flowers it was decided that
we would give a $50 contribution in Norma's name to our ESU Endowment fund. Meeting adjourned, Norma Watson, VP |
